    Red Sox Rumor: Red s0x want Kolb

    Red Sox gave Kolb a look
    According to Thursday's Boston Globe, the Red Sox have looked at Atlanta's Danny Kolb, who earlier this season was booted from the Braves' closer spot after struggling with his command. On the season, Kolb is 1-5 with a 5.63 ERA.



    And they also DFAd Jay Payton...Payton for Kolb?

    Or...Kolb for the flight to Boston?

    The Sox want Klobbering time? I mean, I have a nice jersey card of his, but why would the Sox want Kolb. If ATL wants to take Payton for him, that's cool though

    Want is quite vague. I'll take him, can't be any worse than Cassidy or Dinardo, but not if he costs anymore than a player like Payton who is going to be released.
