The Indians were also giving away Victor Martinez jerseys to kids if they bought tickets for a Sunday game for the rest of the year. Cleaning out the inventory I guess.

On the deal, Hagadone is the frontline prospect, mid nineties fastball from the left side. Masterson should be able to step in to the rotation as soon as next month(depending on if they want to stretch him out now, or wait until next year.)

Kelly Shoppach, Lou Marson, Carlos Santana and Chris Gimenez(started last night) are all options to catch in Cleveland over the next couple months, so the deal makes a lot of sense from their prespective. If Shoppach cleared waivers this month, I could see him getting moved as well.

I'm calling this a win for both teams.
