    Yankees Yankees add Tomko

    TAMPA, Fla. (AP)—Right-hander Brett Tomko was a late addition to the New York Yankees’ spring training camp, agreeing Friday to a minor league contract as pitchers and catchers reported.
    Because he's so damn clutch when a playoff berth clinching game is on the line.

    I'm a big believer that no MLC is a bad signing because the worst that can happen is the guy rots away in AAA. Big whoop.

    That being said, I most definitely wouldn't go so far as to call any signing involving Brett Tomko a "great signing".

    It will be a great signing only if he stays in the minors and never pitches on the Major League team. If he makes it on the 25 man roster, then you are in trouble. This is one player that I would never want on my team again.
