A deal could be announced on Dec. 1. Tazawa apparently is picking the Red Sox despite receiving offers from the Mariners, Braves and Rangers that included more guaranteed money.
He'll be a nice 4/5 starter for us, Im excited to see what he can do

Epstein chooses his battles carefully.Junichi Tazawa's deal with the Red Sox is expected to become official after he undergoes a physical in Boston this week.
A source told the Boston Globe that Tazawa's deal is a major league contract worth an estimated $3 million over three years.
