Also, despite the debate and argument with CJ, I'd like to say that I enjoy debate, and even if you all hate me and think I'm a moron for my opinions, I actually enjoy arguing, just to see other people's perspectives.

Last time I checked manny is still in a sox uniform right? I don't expect the best offer to come from the hitter rich NL East, I'd expect it to come from the hitter-poor NL west where manny would instantly become the 2nd best hitter in the whole division

One would think, but the NL West doesn't have as much to offer, especially since the Red Sox seem to be looking for a hitter in return. I mean, even the D-Backs only have so much to give, and I think that the Sox will end up keeping Manny. Like I said, goodness knows how that will work out, maybe it will be beneficial, maybe it'll be the wrong decision. We'll find out down the road...

The Marlins offer of Hermedia and Allison is kinda an interesting one... Allison could get back to what he was back home with his family...if they throw in a mid level prospect as well I'd be on board with it

You'll have to help me out analyzing that...I don't know anything about Allison. I know enough about Hermida...I mean, he's "good" but not quite great. I mean, depends on Allison, and who the mid level prospect is.

Jeff Allison was a 1st round pick a few years ago from just outside Boston, he got into big drug problems when he left for the minors, and it looked like his career was over (aka Hamilton but not that bad) but he went home to his family rebuilt himself and now is a very good P prospect again, and yea it would depend on the midlevel prospect...

I'm a Hermedia fan, I think as soon as he gets out of that hell hole for hitters he'll really step it up
