The Angels have acquired first baseman Mark Teixeira from the Atlanta Braves in exchange for Casey Kotchman and minor league pitcher Stephen Marek, SI.com has confirmed.

Sorry but this one had the most posts so I chose to post in this one.
Good move from both sides of this one. Braves get back a damn good young first baseman in Kotchman and a top prospect in Marek. Angels were the best team in baseball before the trade and are now favorites to win the World Series. Teixeira is that type of impact player. He brings GG defense, hits from both sides and returns to the AL West. Braves had to get something good since they gave up a lot to get Teixeira in the first place. DBacks dropped the ball on this one.
Hopefully he won't be in boston by 7 pm...lol
