Why do the Yankees want a guy that hit .199 and 1 HR last year? His career batting average is .243, why the **** are we considering picking this guy up?

Easy, it's a minor league deal. I don't have any problem with this, he's a good utility man to have around...he was damn good with the Mets for a season.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.
