I think this makes the Tigers a World Series favorite now...as much as I don't like them, it's better than the Red Sox, Yankees, or Angels I guess...
The article I read said the Tigers gave up their #1, 7, and 11 specs in this deal...
And here is the rest
8:44 p.m., from Peter Gammons
• Here are the three pitching prospects (all right-handers) the Tigers are sending to the Marlins in the Cabrera-Willis deal: Eulogio De la Cruz (3.62 ERA in the minors), Dallas Trahern (13-6 between Double-A Erie and Triple-A Toledo) and Blake Badenhop (12-6 between Lakeland and Erie).
So, the Marlins demanded in return for Cabrera a package of Matt Kemp, Chad Billingsley/Clayton Kershaw, and Andy LaRoche from the Dodgers and a package of Howie Kendrick, Jeff Mathis, Ervin Santana, and Nick Adenhart from the Angels, only to settle for Andrew Miller and Cameron Maybin and throw in Dontrelle Willis to Detroit. Well played by Loria and Son.
Loria is made to destroy teams, ask Montreal

DeLaCruz can touch triple digits with a plus curveball.
Trahern is a grounball machine with great poise.
And I have no clue about Blandenhop
The Tigers now have the best team I have seen on paper and will be the favorite to win the AL Central. The Tigers can still help themselves out by trading Inge which is a scary thought. The National should get used to not winning anything soon because they just give their superstars away. Next, Pujols will be traded to the Yanks. Watch for the Marlins to win another WS title in 2011. Also watch for Willis to come up huge like Lowell did when he was just thrown in a deal.
Look who can see the future:

Tigers might not be done!According to Sweeney Murti on WFAN, the Tigers have approached the Mets about Dontrelle Willis, with Ivan Rodriguez also perhaps being involved.
It appears that the Tigers would like to shed some salary after picking up Miguel Cabrera, and this would be a creative way of doing it. The Mets have long been interested in Willis, but the Marlins didn't want to trade him in the division. If they took on both Willis and Pudge, they'd be adding $20 million to the payroll -- or maybe $15 million if they threw back Brian Schneider -- and they might have to extend Rodriguez in order to get him to waive his no-trade protection.
No rep points? Booooooo!
