It's amazing; Torrealba fails his physical, avoiding a horrific mistake for Minaya, and he turns around and makes a good trade.
Why couldn't he just do this initially?
Bad move for the Brewers as it looks like they will replace Estrada with Jason Kendall. Estrada is still a question mark coming off surgery so it will be a while until we know who got the best of the deal.
Right now, the Brewers list Mike Rivera as their #1 catcher. Not sure who they have in their farm system, but I can do some checking.

It was a win for the mets, no doubt. Guillermo Mota may well have been the worst reliever in the MLB this past season, plus, hes an admitted performance enhancing drug user. To spend less cash, get rid of a terrible player, and fill an open position with a decent player makes this one of the best moves Minaya could have made under the circumstances
