I guess since they lost Thomas to the Blue Jays, they require another overpaid, aging player to be their DH. It just so happens that its Mr. Roids.

Bonds would have to give up a lot to move across the bay, IMO. The As fans know him and have an opinion about him already, so the reception would be mixed at best, and most likely icey initially.
Not sure this move would be good from the As perspective. It would have to be very short and cheap with incentives to be a good one for them.

It seems that they're interchanging a lot of 'roids players. Canseco, Giambi, Bonds...

I'd like his potential as a DH with Thomas gone (which saddens me) but, EH!? Why, Billy, why!?
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.

Our very own John from Providence will become a Red Sox fan if this signing happens.
neither will happen...Bonds will not be an Athletic and I will not be a Red Sox.
