    hes both on the DL and cant be dealt. he is out for the rest of the year when he announced that he will not undergo surgery to repair his shoulder.

    Call me a homer, but...pass. I mean, I know Andruw Jones sucks, but I don't think a done-for-the-year, soon-to-be-FA Kerry Wood is enough. Call me a homer.

    not quite 15 mil, its 13.5 and the buyout is 3.5 which the cubs will exercise. sign him for 500K along with some bonuses, fine. thats what any team should do.
