I will when the Pirates deal Craig Wilson to the Braves.

Here's the all-important Rotoworld analysis:
ESPN is reporting that the Detroit Tigers have acquired Pirates' first baseman Sean Casey for Double-A pitcher Brian Rogers.
The most surprising part of this trade is that to make room on the roster for Casey the Tigers have sent Chris Shelton to Triple-A Toledo. Rogers, 24, was 3-2 with a 2.39 ERA in 37 relief appearances this season with Double-A Erie. Casey hasn't played since Friday when he strained an oblique while swinging.

*sigh*
I guess it's one down, seven to go...
Who's next? Wells? Grabow?
no, do post it in the team forum... it's just that not everyone goes there and some people who don't might still have an interest in deals made at the deadline.
Especially people like me who's at work on a slow connection and it's easier for me to just refresh this forum than it is to through all the other forums.

Yeah, that's my fault, I came off sounding like an ass when I really didn't mean much about it.Originally Posted by HollywoodLeo

I'm glad the A's didn't get Casey like some papers were suggesting...Shelton to AAA? In favor of Casey?
PRetty silly deal for the Tigers. They could have gotten much bigger improvements than Casey, and since they're not going to bat Casey efficiently (he belongs in the 2 hole, and I know they won't displace Polanco from there).
But hey, it's better than what Shelton's done the past few months.
I like this move for the Tigers.

Im not the Genius that traded for Brandon McCarthy. And my name is certainly not John Gibbons...
Uh, Sean Casey is not healthy, not good, and not cheap.
Great move for the Pirates to unload Casey as they were not going to resign him as he is not good anymore. Terrible move for the Tigers as McKian pointed out they could have gotten a lot better players.
