My 1st and 2nd graphics using Gimp

I decided to try and make something last night and this is what turned out of it. I know it's no where near the skill that other designers on the forum have but I'm just starting out. Keep in mind I don't have a program like photoshop but these are my first animations. I used gimp to make it and for the text I used Microsoft Picture It! Express 9.

The first one is just too big.

Circular logic aside, Mr Mims, you have yet to provide a single credible reason why you are, in fact, hot.

I agree: lose the Lime green, even though it is Seahawk colors, Maybe reverse it, Put a light green background with Navy Blue text.

Also, change the fonts, especially "olypride" It doesnt work well with the images.

The lens flare in the second image is a bit of an eyesore.

The Griffey one looks good, solid compisition and color choices. I would work on cutting images out, it takes practice but you should get pretty good at it. It might be tough in Gimp, I'm not familiar with the program.
