It's not an issue of being bad, it's that I thought we were talking about a different player, and agreed to the deal, and I thought it'd be a dick move to back out at that point (I even asked Leo about protocol). I've made a lot of bad trades. The original Chipper trade. The Sievers trade. But I did it cognizantly.And just to be clear, I don't blame or fault CJ at all, he's fine here. My swearing post wasn't mad, just more boiled over frustration with myself for not paying better attention.

You can't hold yourself down on the Sievers deal. He boosted. None of us can predict that. He could have just as easily died. We have all made those kind of deals. I could care less that Norman Manrique became what he has, I got a SS at the time and that's what I needed. Do you think CJ loses sleep that Ricky Jones or Deshawn Russell became elite pitchers? Or Phillyfan wanted to quit when Dennis Eckersley became a God? They're still around, still competing, etc.

It was honest confusion. I usually riff off of PMs because I'm lazy with titles as a few PMs with Kingdom and Leo can attest to. I think we had last left off with that player who shall not be named a couple days before so I was continuing the conversation chain, but like I said, I should have been a ton more specific. I mean, Spiwack is still awesome so it wasn't a bad trade but with her developing so insanely quick her and Spiwack are basically a wash and I gave up the two prospects for nothing.
