Maybe you forgot that I was dominant when Leo changed the draft style? I didn't like it then, and I still don't like it now.

See that's where you and I differ. If I get in being that bad, I don't want to be punished with a 24 pick(which usually isn't that great of a pick) because I shocked the league and won it all.

It's all relative to the overall opinion as well.

I mean, when I won 100+ games in TBL and lost in round one of the playoffs it seemed, at least to me, like salt on the wound that I missed out on the World Series and still had to pick last.

I'm kind of a poor example, admittedly, with how well Arizona has fared overall but I'm just making a point.

At the end of the day it's all about who wins the World Series and it just seems like highway robbery to me if a team wins it and still gets to pick 12th or 13th overall.

That depends on your definition of "best" considering that's a very relative and ambiguous definition based purely on opinion in the first place.

If it's "who did best at accomplishing the game's main goal" then it is the team that won the World Series.

If it is "who looks best on paper?" then maybe not.

I typically go with the first definition.

I think 162 games show which teams are the best. Not a 3+ game tournament after the season. Perhaps that's just me.
