The Tennessee Titans
Intro: The real Tennessee Titans are awful. There's really not much going for that team, so there was no need to being a boring ninny and sit on a roster of crap. Talent was a necessity, and it was needed everywhere. We also had money, tons of money, by the start of free agency and we targeted a handful of individuals once we had acquired a good QB. Fortunately, we landed all of our top targets. After it was all said and done, 17 trades and a billion FA moves, I'm left with only 6 original guys from the original team I took over (Lewan, Warmack, Levitre, Williamson, Woodyard, and Huff). I'll lay out my roster and coaching staff and then my depth chart accompanied with narration (by Morgan Freeman, of course).

Commentary on Offense: I've never had a legit QB in GML. In fact, my best might have been Thad Lewis or Chase Daniel. So I was not leaving this GML without one. Acquiring Nick Foles was a game changer for the direction of this team. I truly had no interest in Mariota or Winston, and if I had never moved #2, I would have gone with Leonard Williams. With him in place, I quickly surrounded him with talent to throw to. If there's anything Jason Michael can do, it's getting major production from a tight end. So I gave him 3 downfield targets at that position. We'll be able to effectively deploy two TE formations at the mercy of opposing defenses. We synced Foles up with his former #1 in Philly in Jeremy Maclin. Then we added the dynamic duo from Morgantown in Stedman and Tavon. Dwayne Bowe will have a chance to actually be a wide receiver again with a real passing attack. The wildcard is the lanky and fast Marquess Wilson. We made it a priority to have running backs capable of catching the ball and Bush and Vereen are two of the best. It'll be a committee as neither are every down backs. They'll be backed by battering rams in Robinson, Matt Jones, and Tolbert. Tolbert is also an effective pass catcher. We'll be spreading things out quite a bit. The OLine stayed mostly the same, except we upgraded at C (Lewis) and T (Armstead) and also upgraded our depth along the line with Barclay and Schwartz. This offense is designed to take advantage of Foles' arm. We're aware of the potential injury prone history with Foles and secured a quality backup in Mike Glennon.

Commentary on Defense: Yeah we weren't interested much in continuing a failed 3-4 system. Since Jim Schwartz was booted after turning the Bills into a remarkable defense, hell yeah we were jumping on that opportunity. And that's good because our glaring weakness is the unknown on our front line and the inexperience despite the potential of the secondary. Fortunately we were able to land Preston Smith in the draft and he will be tasked to start on one side. Opposite will be Quinton Coples, as we end the tragedy of him trying to be a 3-4 LB. Sims has been a fairly productive backup to the vaunted St. Louis front line and will likely have a larger role than normal. Crawford and Clarke will also have plenty of opportunity as we try to figure out a decent mix. Ferguson and Williams will be the unquestioned starting DTs and both have shown potential in their young careers, with Ferguson only being a second year man and Williams being a former 1st rounder. The strength of our defense and the key to our rushing attack will be the combined powers of Justin Houston and Connor Barwin. They combined for 36.5 sacks in 2014. Providing depth will be college pass rush artist rookie Hau'oli Kikaha, who had over 30 sacks in his final two years. Manning the middle will be second year man Avery Williamson, who enjoyed an underrated rookie year. Malcolm X. Smith, former super bowl MVP, will provide relief all across the board. This unit will be key to the success on defense. The secondary is young and unproven, led by three second year guys, a rookie, and a career reserve at corner. Marcus Peters was our first round pick and despite off the field troubles in his past, we are willing to take the chance given that he grades as the best cover corner in the draft. Starting opposite of him will be Stanley Jean-Baptiste. Pierre Desir and Marcus Burley are next in line and figure to see plenty of action. Tyler..NA NA NA NA NA.. Patmon! was brought in late to provide depth in the secondary and to be the nickel corner. Safety will be a mix bag for now, with veteran Kendrick Lewis and rookie Anthony Harris getting the first cracks. Bacarri Rambo, Marqueston Huff, and Patmon will provide immediate depth. We are gambling with 3 rookies starting on defense but believe in their talent.

Commentary on Special Teams: We started out with no kickers and an overpaid return man. Not exactly an encouraging beginning. Wing was about the only thing worthwhile on the market. Perhaps we'll run a Madden offense and go for it on 4th down every time. No, Wing will manage and wing it for now. The big get was one of the top legs in the NFL in Justin Tucker. Very consistent, clutch, and primed with a big leg, he'll be a weapon for us. Long snapping, meh, we'll run with one of the backup linemen or someone like Zumwalt. Returning the ball, we'll take Bush back to his roots and utilize the Morgantown duo. Carey may get looks too since he'll begin the year buried on the depth chart at RB.
Outro: I believe the offense has been vastly upgraded and will present as a power given the type of spread system we'll run. Our tight ends will be nearly impossible to defense in conjunction with everything else. The offensive line is also a lot better, given the upgrades + development of Lewan. The special teams will also be a lot better with Tucker and Austin involved. The question marks will be on defense with several rookies starting and likely having a large role to play. Many players will be counted on to be more than just a part time role player. The linebacking corp will be dynamic and ultimately the difference maker. The defense being good rests solely on whatever we get out of the DLine and secondary. Marcus Peters has a chance to be really special if he keeps his head straight. We're confident we will be highly competitive and have a chance given the state of the division.
