I'm currently in a league on a team specific forum and we're doing the draft now as well. And 1 of the rules is that after a team makes their selection they have to send a PM to the next team on the clock. It helps to keep things moving b/c to be honest, since this is my first year, I thought you had to wait till your time came and then make a pick whether or not the team in front of you chose right away. So some people may be ready to pick but they're assuming they can't until it's their scheduled time on the clock.

Good call, I probably need to make that more clear in the rules. As long as the pick(s) above you have been made, you're free to pick as soon as your ready. Getting ahead of the schedule is nice, just in case we have board maintenance or a slow down, again.

Dante Fowler Jr was staring me in the face at #8. I couldn't pass him up even though I addressed DE and OLB in this years FA and via trade. Atlanta's defense was awful last year and he just adds to the re-structured pass rush along with Vernon, Sheard and Willie Young. Something coach Dan Quinn will be happy to see. He can play as a DE in a 4-3 and he's versatile enough to stand up and play in some coverage packages like he did at Florida. Very excited that he fell to #8. I definitely expected him to be gone earlier than that.
