I have to double check my notes, but I think so. You'll tag BEFORE the start of FA though, can't do it once FA start though. I'll be listing some numbers within the next couple of days and you'll have some time before FA starts to decide.


It's being discussed, but right now we're leaning towards tagged players functioning as full dead money on trades since the very nature of the tag is different in the game compared to real life. Often in real life, teams want to keep said player. In the game, usually someone wants to ship player out for a huge bounty. It still allows trade flexibility and cap flexibility.

Thanks so much! Yea, having it be dead money on a trade would make sense. Then teams have to make tougher decisions and not simply hoard a player for the best trade value. Helps make my Greg Hardy decision a little easier.

Question about free agency, I know we can all see the highest bid standing, but once we get to the better FA's how do years come into affect. If I want Suh can I bid 5 years $85 million, but his first year he only counts for 10 mil against the cap?

The Bills are kinda in all-in mode, so we're seriously considering back-loading some major money to get a few more key pieces

It's only a 1 year bid at this point. No multi year deals... It's the only way to run it at this point unfortunately. But other ways are coming in the near future.
