Before I forgot I just wanted to say a quick thanks to all you guys for letting me be a part of this league. It's been a ton of fun. If you guys are having a league again next year I definitely want to do it again

That's also why I can't see myself making some of the trades some of you guys have made. Trading 1 pick for 7 picks. Those 7 picks could potentially all pan out to be studs. We've seen so many players drafted from round 1 through 7 that have panned out. So I don't put a ton of stock into where players were drafted. Then again, watching the tape for yourself and devising a big board is what you should base your selections and strategy off of.

But there isn't any time for that to happen here, this is a one year league. Your 7th round pick probably isn't going to to turn in to an all pro between now and the voting period.

The one thing that irritated me when I was first looking at this league was a trade of Larry Fitzgerald to NE for a 3rd and some scrub. You're going to trade a top 5 wide receiver in football for a 3rd rounder? Really? If I had been Oakland I would have been all over that like white on rice. Im doing this just cause I enjoy the NFL draft aspect of this. I tried to form a block but no one really bit at anything I was offering so I'm pretty much using the draft to fill out my roster probably.

Mach didn't do anything until the re-sign process.

Most others didn't have cap room to start, so some of the trades look a little odd, out of context.

Drafted Keenan Allen last year at #31 and received heavy criticism. We all know how that turned out. I drafted Nickell Robey at #172. Two guys at different ends of the draft who produced right away. Secondly, hitting on what Mach said, the guys I drafted last year are my guys. Just like any other real life GM, the guys I select, I select for a reason. That's my draft class and I take pride in it. In case you're wondering, here's how my 2013 class looked like:

Allen was consistently mocked for me in that area until draft week, so I don't see why people would say it's a reach.

Well, I guess it depends on one's view of Fitz. I don't think he's that player anymore, personally.

The bad thing about coming in later is that most people are pretty set team wise. Trades go bonkers early on.
