Kony Ealy, Defensive End, Missouri

The New York Giants organization are happy to have the opportunity to pick Kony Ealy at number twelve overall. This young man played his tail off in his junior year, showing a lot of promise and vaulting himself to first round consideration. With a defensive line that lacks a true starter opposite Justin Tuck, the Giants are glad to add Ealy to a loaded defensive end group that features other rotational players like George Selvie and Damontre Moore. The Giants hope that Kony Ealy can be the explosive pass-rushing, play-making defensive end that has been the calling card of the Giants since their induction into the NFL.
