With the 70th pick in the 2014 GML Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars select:
Brandon Coleman, WR, Rutgers
The Jaguars are taking a chance with this selection. They understand that this may be a potential reach, but they are basing this selection off of potential. Brandon Coleman is a 6'6" receiver who ran a 4.56/40 at his pro day. Although his production lacked in his three years at Rutgers, the quarterback play was also suspect. Coleman could become a potential play-maker in the NFL purely based off of his size. Being able to box out smaller defensive backs will allow Coleman to succeed but there are questions about his ball skills and route tree. Lastly, the tallest receiver on the Jaguars' roster is Cecil Shorts III at 6'0".

With the 74th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the New York Giants select:
Loucheiz Purifoy, Cornerback, Florida
The New York Giants are happy to welcome Louchiez Purifoy to their team and as their newest Cornerback. While Corner may not be the Giants biggest need, it's hard to pass up a player as athletic and with as much potential as Purifoy has. That he was still available at 74 was too good to pass up and we are glad to have him. With Prince Amukamara and Brandon Browner entrenched as our two starters, we are confident that Loucheiz and Cary Williams will fight it out to be nickel corner in training camp and preseason. Even if Loucheiz is used as a dime Corner, we are confident that he can provide us with solid play at that spot as well as on special teams, either as a gunner or returner. The Giants are eager to see what the dynamic young man can bring to their Secondary.
