I want to extend a welcome to everyone coming over from StadiumRejects.net and SR's GML league.

Some of you have been apart of BS since the beginning, some of you have been here off and on through the years, and some of you are brand new. We started as strike3forums.com and now we are pushing 10 years of existence. While it's mostly been a baseball forum, we openly encourage other sports as well as what we call baseball sim leagues (operated on a computer game called Out of the Park, or OOTP for short).

Ultimately, this forum will be going through some reconstruction to keep up with the times. There will be less unnecessary baseball sections, there we be a revamped sports off the diamond section, and GML will have it's own branch much like our sim leagues. But that will happen in time.

You will also notice that if you're brand new, you do not have access to private messaging just yet. Unfortunately, in the past, we set up security measures to combat excessive douche-bachery that we encountered. I am hoping to get that changed soon but nonetheless, Porter and I will get those opened up for you ASAP. Please be patient.

There's a lot of work in progress due to the suddenness of the merger. We will get things taken care of and I believe that everyone will enjoy the future here. Feel free to step outside of GML and explore or interact with others on here. If there's any questions, let us know, and thank you again for your patience.

Just few quick things,


We are pretty laid back here at BS. There's few rules, mainly zero tolerance for racism and what not. It's rare that we as admins and moderators have had to step in. It's worked really well so don't worry about the change in environments.

It'll be a day by day process for everyone coming over but trust me, we are far more than baseball and I plan to make things more balanced. There will be more expansive football sections so the general SR users have a home and you guys can mingle as well. I think mach is moving his fantasy stuff over soon (no not his blow up dolls but fantasy football leagues) so I'm also going to revamp life for fantasy sports.

Also if any of you know about OOTP or have ever been in an OOTP league, hit up Trendy Bastard, there is a spot open in his league.

yes, all my fantasy machinations are coming over. FFL, Mach draft contest, survivour league, and there may be something baseball related from Kingdom. I hope to carry football type things as much as possible along with smilies.

Good to see some new blood coming onto the site, welcome back to those who've been here before. Mach I've been looking at this and I just don't feel confident in the time or my ability to learn on the fly for this to be any use. But if you bring the draft contest or do any mock drafts I'd love to participate (but we'd probably be fighting over Oakland LOL).
