Figured I'd start us off proper, since I'm diving in to Mock Draft Season.
Anyone(Hammer, Kingdom, Mach?) interested in getting together a consensus pre-season rankings list?

Anyone interested in doing this, please do. The more rankings we get, the more precise the rankings will be. (I did throw together a quick PPR running back ranking so that someone of the guys wouldn't be insanely skewed.)

looking at the wr lists... i definitely overlooked torrey smith. im not high on him regardless, i think stevie will be the possession guy there, and torrey wasnt even really outstandingly productive on deep balls last year... but i could definitely get him in, in that bowe-wallace-amendola range. i also seem to be higher on the rookie wrs than you... especially cooks.
Yeah, I figured you just forgot Torrey. I think Pitta is going to open up the deep ball for Torrey, and it's not like they have much of a run game if Rice and Pierce are both suspended to start the year.
I don't trust Manuel enough to like Watkins, and there's a ton of mouths to feed in NO(not that I'm doubting, but their #3 WR hasn't been fantasy viable in a couple years). If I'm going risk, I'd probably wait until the end of the draft and take an Andrew Hawkins or Crotchery instead of paying for the hype machine.
I know this is probably gonna get me laughed at but I would NOT touch Manning with a first round pick. He is quite literally 1 shot away from being DONE and I see way too many similarities between him and Rich Gannon at this point of their careers (coming off of a embarrassing Super Bowl lost). I just have a feeling that its going to be the trend rather than the exception.

People have been saying that about him every year for at least the past five years. They'll be right eventually just like they were eventually right about Favre when he was "done" every season.

I wasn't one of them. I just see so many similarities between the 04 Raiders (who's big FA acquisition was that lazy fat ass Warren Sapp) and 13 Donks. Peyton could come out and light the world on fire. I know one thing... his kicker is going to be at the top of my kicker list. If I'm right I wave the guy for one of the other dozen kickers who aren't drafted.

Raider fans are a silly breed.

I'm not laughing at it at all. I've found that legit(Top 14) QBs are available well in to Round 7 and 8 in all of the Mocks I've done.
In yesterdays mock(ESPN), QBs came off the board like this:
1-4: P. Manning
2-14: A. Rodgers
2-24: D. Brees
4-42: M. Stafford
4-47: C. Newton
5-53: A. Luck
5-58: N. Foles
7-79: R. Griffin III
7-80: R. Wilson
7-84: M. Ryan
8-88: C. Kaepernick
8-94: T. Brady
9-100: P. Rivers
9-102: T. Romo
Why grab Manning in the first, when you could legitimately double up with say, Romo and Ryan?

But that's not why he was saying he'd pass on Manning.

But he never said he wouldn't use a 2nd round pick on Manning, even if he's comparing him to Gannon. Just not a first.
