Then readjust after the draft with trades and free agency?

I get the preference to be able to draft when able to but I've never understood being so averted to an auto draft as to not want to participate entirely.

Half of the fun is readjusting as the season goes along anyway.

I join multiple leagues every year and in at least half of them I inevitably have to settle for an auto draft.

But that's fine, though. 16 teams was kinda deep anyway, so it's not like I'm hurting for participation.

I just don't get it is all. If I have to auto draft then whatever. I just adjust like I typically have to do even after a manual draft.

I cleared my schedule to make sure I was free tonight for the draft and having it moved the night before was a bummer. I'm in so many leagues that it's fine I don't need to particpate, plus it'll make it even numbers for the league.

But...as I've said now 5,693,359 times in this thread, if your sole reasoning to quit the league is to make the teams even don't do so. I have TWO people at the ready that can join the league at a moment's notice to even it up. I don't need to eliminate a team to make that happen.

If you have other reasons to quit then that's your prerogative, but don't do so just to even it up when that's unnecessary.
