New Strike 3 OOTP League

We are going to try and start up a new sim league here. We are just gauging interest at the moment. It will be set in the past, but the time period we will start in is still up in the air. We could start it in 1901 or so, or the '60s, '70s, or '80s, whatever. If we get enough interest in the idea Ill set up a vote for what time period everyone wants to do it in. If you are interested just say so. Im not sure how many teams there will be until we deicde the era, so it will just be a first come first serve type thing.

lets not go too far back because then you get into the problems of people even knowing what teams there are. If you do the 70s I call the Reds. Although Id like to see another as is league.

I think it would be better to save calling teams for when the time period is decided and there is a signup thread. Just my two cents.

I wouldnt go back too far unless theres an expansion option then you could add teams as the league gets established. Plus you might run into the problem with people knowing whos who and might not get the interest if they dont see guys they recognize.

Yea, lets hold off on calling teams for now. And no, we wont be using 1-100. Ill use 1-10 for talent and ratings, and probably 1-5 for speed and stuff.

I think we're finally to the point where there would be enough interest for another as is league. The teams in the SBSL fill up as soon as there is an opening now, and Mission's league always has a waiting list.

Yeah, if it's 1980, I'm certainly intrested in running Pittsburgh into the ground. Word.

How about 1990? Makes more sense, as people would be more familiar with the players.
