I'm kind of mad that I only drafted one and a half closer (Jenks and Zumaya), and Jenks has been struggling really badly this spring training. It's like I'm punting a category already. Ugh. Hopefully Todd Jones tears his ACL and Zumaya takes over with fast.

I'm pleased about having three Padres on my team (Peavy, Bard, and sadly Wells), so that's cool.

Can't believe I took John Patterson in the 8th round when I could have gone with someone like a Chris Capuano who was available still. AGH!!

Luke Scott? Yeah, this isn't the best team I've ever seen by any means. Lowry was a nice pull in the 15th, but the lack of relief pitching would probably make me just punt there(trade Jenks for value, how'd he last until the 7th anyway, second tier closers are normally going in publics by then?)

The team has a couple nice young OF's that could prove to help long term, but there's noticable holes(Castillo can't run much, so he's down to his AVR and R), and I normally pair Gordon with an estblished 3B late(Crede, Teahen, ect.). I like Patterson as well as I like Capuano, though, that ballpark is nice if he can just stay healthy.

While Byrnes may be a potential 25/25 hitter, but full-time closers are rare when they are spread out among 18 teams.

My fifth trade this year just went down. In desperate need of saves (my only other "closers" being Joakim Soria and Angel Guzman), I dealt away Nick Swisher in return for Jason Isringhausen who's having a good year. Too bad the Cards stink. Maybe they'll turn around and he'll have more opportunities. And it's ok because my outfield is pretty crowded.
