That's more a product of coincidence than anything else.

I don't think being the result of a trade up somehow differentiates them from any other top 5 pick for a QB

Also, Leaf is a technicality since the team that traded up for him was already in the top 5 and simply got bamboozled by the Cardinals' GM.

Unfair for Jaylon Smith from ND. The are saying his medicals came back with nerve damage to his knee. Went from likely top-3 pick to maybe never playing again. I was watching that Bowl game when it happened and the guy just rolled him up while his back was sort of turned. Poor guy.
