The 7 playoff team format is just the solution of mine that could happen, instead of the solution I really want which is to kick the crappy team out of the playoffs.

I wouldn't entirely hate a simple stipulation that makes it a requirement to at least have a .500 winning percentage to make it, in other words winning your division still gets you an automatic bid but with that asterisk.

That being said, that wouldn't have helped the Jets this year. I don't care where you have them in your power rankings, 9-7 is still 9-7 and the last thing I'd want is to turn the NFL into the BCS.

Meanwhile the Chargers are stuck in another year of limbo trying to decide what to do.

I don't care if they're playing in San Diego, LA, or Timbuktu. I just want some resolution on this matter.

The Chargers and Rams are working to finalize a deal to share the Inglewood new stadium. Magic Johnson is the first person to put a deposit on Rams tickets. I hope that means conversely Donald Sterling will be the first to order tickets for the Chargers so he can support "them" and give them food, and clothes, and cars, and houses, while avoiding being seen with Magic at the games.
