I just can't wait until Tuesday or Wednesday and get some kind of resolution on all this relocation nonsense.

They still would've put up a better fight than the Texans. It's hard not to.

I'm for a format change so awful teams like the Texans, and Redskins don't get into the playoffs. How the fuck does it make sense to harm the Jets for playing in a division with Tom Brady, but still putting up a 10 win season, but allowing a garbage team like the Texans make it when they only got 9 wins while facing shit teams 6 times a season.

Either that or you add a 7th playoff team in each conference. 1 seed is the only team that gets the bye week, and 2 vs 7, 3 vs. 6, and 4 vs. 5. It's as simple as that to fix it so shitty teams don't make the playoffs.

the division format is what it is. it wasnt like the texans or redskins went 7-9 and got in... they both went 9-7, the texans actually beat us, meh. they were in shit divisions, but they earned their spots. the real problem here, is the jets didnt earn their spot. im not gonna make excuses, im not gonna ask for a revamp of the playoff format... i ask for the jets to come up strong in a big spot. they did vs new england, and then shit the bed vs buffalo. it is what it is.

They shouldn't have had a "win and in situation", because they finished with a better record than a team that lost 30-0 in a playoff game. If the Jets were in that division there is no doubt in my mind that they would've finished with at least 11 or 12 wins. Just because you're one of those "same old jets" kind of Jets fans doesn't mean they didn't deserve to be there more than the Texans, or Redskins.

It's pretty simple that the Jets belonged in the playoffs, and the Texans didn't. One team has to play in a division with the Patriots who are a lock for 12 wins every year, and the Texans play in the worst division in the NFL.

i got a good idea. lets move to alabama... the birmingham jets. then they can put the colts in the afc east, and we can be in the afc south.

stop your nonsense. theres been division format for 8 zillion years, teams have been screwed for 8 zillion years, the jets arent the first, they wont be the last.

Right. Remember, there was a year the Patriots missed the playoffs and were 11-5. I think Miami, Jets, and Patriots were all 11-5 but Patriots lost out on the tie breakers.

Stop my nonsense? They won 10 games, The Texans won 9 games. The Jets were a better team. If you see otherwise then you're an idiot.

There were 2 years like that recently. The Dolphins in 2008 finished 11-5, Patriots went 11-5, Jets went 9-7. And 2002 the Jets, Dolphins, and Patriots all went 9-7.

Also not that it matters, but the Bills also went 8-8 that season in 2002.

I would say it matters. Having a year where no one in the division has a losing record? Still supports the fact that the division matters so much. They could do something more like the NHL, but you would end up deciding teams by tie breakers. OT/and ROW are a lot better of tie breakers are a lot better than what the NFL would have to do.

I guess, get used to it? Happens in every sport. NBA constantly has sub .500 teams in the playoffs. You see MLB teams with better records than other division champions miss out all the time. It is why strength of conference is such a big deal in college football.

well head to head, the jets werent the better team, but thats neither here nor there. theyre not gonna change division format because the jets got screwed one year, when many many other teams got screwed in years past. this is obviously the part going over your head right now. the point here is for you to get used to it, because all the whining in the world isnt changing a damn thing.
