    Real time it looked square

If you watch they still hit on the side, and it's still clear

But who knows, I'm obviously bias a little and apparently outnumbered. Rivers gave it to them eventually anyway.

good to see mel ingram playing well. loved him coming out that year, i wanted him over coples. seems like both have been similarly disappointing in their careers.

In fact, you only solidified mine. His shoulder does hit Green first but then the helmets hit right after.

If the refs had the benefit of seeing it in slow mo like that I'd concede that it's nitpicking with the degree in which they hit but I still see them hit.

Refs should just let them go in that situation. The player was smart enough to lead with his shoulder and I'll say "arguably" avoided helmet to helmet. A penalty isn't going to change the fact that the player got hurt, in which most if not all of the impact came from the shoulder.

The ref saw his helmet go towards Green's helmet and saw Green's head snap back. He didn't have the benefit of watching it in slow mo replay or internet vines like we do.

It's hard to blame him for tossing the flag whether the helmets really hit or not.

that was a less mundane call of a 70 yard touchdown than a typical joe buck call.

Maybe these calls should start becoming reviewable.

That was probably the most boring long TD call I've ever heard.

I had my eye off the TV making that last post and didn't even realize what was happening until I turned and saw Edelman running because it sounded like a call on a routine 2 yard run.

come on phil, one of my leagues got real close with that long td. i got 22 points in hand with rivers vs brady and the pats d. a rivers passing td would be helpful in two areas.

I think that's the first time I've ever seen a Rivers "oh shit, I'm about to get sacked" dump pass work out for anything other than an awkward looking incomplete pass at best.
