in addition, you want to see immediate progressions. especially in the 1st game of the year, against a team you should be running off the field, that went 2-10 last year. hes still running around in the backfield eating losses, and making erratic and wild throws. admittedly, hes also made two very solid throws, and has at least one drop that i saw go against him [and one bobble that probably couldve made for a bigger gain on one of the good throws], but i still see nothing special.
