Alright, I'm going to pull my best imitation of redsfan here and tell you the facts after two measly games:


1) The Texans are 2-0, and they've allowed 850 yards in the air. Not a contender.
2) The Colts are not dead yet.
3) The Steelers QB could be Danny Wuerffle, and they could still win games with their defense.
4) Arizona is who we thought they were, with Derek Anderson. (not, good, at, all)
5) Someone switched Jay Cutler's body with that of retired Kurt Warner's body. It's the only thing that makes sense.

and what happens when they get one of the best quarterbacks in the league back?

If I'm Michael Vick, I am in Reid's office today asking for a trade. I am a firm believer that you start the guy who gives you the best chance to win. Granted, Kolb got hurt. However, Vick looked fantastic yesterday and he's not going to get a sniff at the start.

I don't understand why the Vikings would trade for Vincent Jackson, considering he still has to sit out 4 games and they need a wide receiver NOW

Jackson can play in week 5 if he's traded.

The way it sounded, he'd have to sit out 4 games if traded by Wednesday, which would be weeks 3, 5, 6, and 7 (they have the bye week 4, which doesn't count). I don't think the two he's missed so far count because he technically isn't under contract because he didn't sign his tender offer. You'd get him back week 8. By then, it could be too late.

he's suspended 3 weeks by the league and an additional 3 by the chargers. The question became whether or not that team suspension carries over in a trade. The league ruled that he's eligible week 5 if traded.

What a terrible way to start off the season. Offense is still struggling and we have losses to the skins and bears. Things aren't looking good in Dallas. Gotta win next week.

No, they said his 6 game suspension will be reduced to 4. The question is whether the first two games that he was absent due to not signing his tender count toward that total of 4 games.
