Thread: Tigers Random Rumblings

Solid? Maybe. The first two, Rogers and Bonderman have done great so far. Maroth and Robertson are questionable. I can see the spark in them, but they were so inconsistent last year. One game would be good, the next not so good. As for Verlander, I still haven't made a judgement. He's young. Let's see what he's done by the All Star Break and I can tell you how good he'll be.

Even though, his first game pitching, will be a game that you don't want a miss. It'll be exciting with him out there. I'm sure he'll be nervous though.

Maroth has shown some times that he can be effective. Verlander is young then again how old is the Pasco native Bonderman? Robertson is similar to Maroth in production for they are up and down for the most part. I think Verlander will be fine personally.

Bonderman is young, but he has experience in the MLs, and look at todays game. He's done quite fine. Verlander should be fine. I agree with you on Maroth, he's a good pitcher, just needs to step it up.

Why is it that Maroth is so inconsistent?

I wish I knew. I know sometimes last year he just looked like he didn't care. But he's been one of the guys really excited this camp about the new staff.

We should see him tommorow night against Texas. It's going to be great to see Robertson pitch tonight.

Maybe he'll put it all together and have a decent 13-10, low 4 ERA, 1.27 WHIP type season.

If he could, I'd be pleased with that out of a #4 pitcher. I just hope he shows good. So far our pitching has looked good. I'm pleased.

LOL. I don't think we'll get frustrated this year. It's going to be one hell of a season.

No crap. Yesterday was an awesome game with Inge leading off the game with a HR. Shelton is really going to explode this season. Already 4 HRs in 3 games.

Hell, even Ordonez had a nice game. Wish Dmitri would step up though.

KC is actually pretty good, it's their pitching. I'll laugh when they beat those Twins of yours.
