The Tigers have now won seven in a row and are baseball's hottest team right now. The Tigers have outscored opponents 49-17 in that stretch and two of the opponents have come in the AL Central. Also in that stretch was a no-hitter by Verlander plus five more no-hit innings. The Tigers now sit 3.5 games behind the Indians after leapfrogging the Royals who they are currently playing. Max Scherzer has a chance to become MLB's first seven game winner today as they go for the sweep of the Royals. A win today would be their longest win streak in four years.

A semi jinx from Reefer. Scherzer didn't have a chance for #7 as the game was PPD. Which, by the way, we've already smashed the number of games postponed from last year, and it's only half way through May.
