    Tigers move to 0-5

I'm guessing that's not the start to the season that they were hoping for.

I am totally shocked by this. This has to be the biggest surprise of the season. YIKES!

Another stellar performance by the Tigers bullpen. I realize Detroit's not going to be this bad for the whole year, but if they wanna turn this around they'll have to find another arm in the bullpen either via trade or the minors.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

Their bullpen is horrible, if they don't fix it they won't make the playoffs.

This excites me. Yes it's early, but it goes to show that it doesn't matter how much money you spend, you aren't guaranteed instant results.

Willis's first start in the AL was awful too. 7 walks in 5 innings? Yikes. And Brandon Inge was really all the offense for the Tigers today. I don't think they will be this way for the entire season. Every team goes through slumps like this. This one is just so much more hyped up because it's the beginning of the season and because the Tigers have HUGE expectations.

The Tigers are overrated man, and their bullpen is GARBAGE! And their 5 losses were to the Royals (thrice), and the ChiSox (twice), and they were cellar dwellers in their division last year.

I'm not at all surprised. Too many people jumped on their bandwagon, it'll weigh them down for the season.

To be honest, I thought the Tigers were gonna win the division

Well there's 157 games to go, nothing is set in stone in early april obviously

The Tigers will have a lot of pressure on them this season because they have the biggest payroll increase this season of any club and they are expected to win it all by most people. This added pressure cannot help them in the long run.

Tigers are well on their way to an 0-6 record. They are down 9-1 in the 6th tonight. All I can hope is that the Tigers have a complete meltdown and finish third in this division. That way many people can forget about the Barry Zito signing being one of the worst at the moment
