Congrats to Moyer I personally thought he was crazy to try and come back at his age but he sure proved me wrong.Jamie Moyer became the oldest pitcher in MLB history to win a game Tuesday night against the Padres.
Moyer, at 49 years and 150 days, bested Jack Quinn, whose last win came at 49 years and 70 days. The soft-tossing left-hander allowed two runs to the San Diego offense, but they were both unearned. He's rocking a respectable 3.57 ERA and 1.30 WHIP through three starts this year despite a laughable 6/4 K/BB ratio.
