Can the Rockies do it this year?

I'd have mixed feelings if they did.

On one hand, it'd kind of suck if the Padres became the only NL West team without a WS ring.

On the other hand, mofo's reaction to Jim Tracy winning the WS would be kind of funny.

You know what would be funnier? The Rockies passing both the Giants and Padres again to clinch a playoff spot. How would you like them apples?

Ha ha. Laugh it up, Mofo. Enjoy looking at our taint from being beneath us in the standings. The Rockies made it interesting before the All Star break, and then in September before then puking on themselves at the end of both runs. Oh well, on to next year. May we find another bat, and a couple of good starters.
