As of today, the Rockies have a 63-72 record and are still only 6 games out of first. We all know the miraculous run the Rockies made last year. Is there a chance they do it again?? The Dbacks and Dodgers are playing like shit and the Rockies have played well. In the past ten games, only the Rockies have a winning record going 7-3. Rockies will try and start this run against a familiar team, the Padres. The rest of the way is pretty easy with chances to gain ground. They have two series left with the Giants and more importantly the Dbacks. They play the Dodgers, Astros, Braves and the Padres again. The interesting thing is they finish the season with those Dbacks and play them a week before that. Todd Helton is trying his best to get back before the season ends but I don't think even he will be enough. After last year's amazing run, I cannot count this team out just yet. Six games isn't that tough to make up in the weak NL West if you think about it. Until the Rockies are technically eliminated from a playoff birth, don't write them off just yet.
