    The Rockies purchased the contract of Elmer Dessens. I really hopes he pitches better for the Rockies than he did for the Brewers!

    They also added Ramon Ortiz, who's 34 years old. It seemed like only yesterday that he was nicknamed Little Pedro after Pedro Martinez.
