Sizemore out 4-6 weeks

Grady Sizemore underwent abdominal surgery Thursday in Philadelphia to repair a sports hernia.
Well, that's a surprise. Sizemore is expected to be sidelined for 4-6 weeks following the surgery. The Indians projected that he would likely have to miss four weeks with his knee injury anyway, so they felt it made sense to address the hernia issue at this particular time. He's far from a sure thing the rest of the way, so look for the Indians to step up their efforts to land an outfielder before the trade deadline.

First Choo now Sizemore. Indians are in trouble and need to make a move or two if they expect to hang with the Tigers in the AL Central. Coco Crisp has been rumored to be on the Indians radar who could be a good replacement in CF and Ludwick has been rumored to replace Choo. Either one would help but Crisp should not be thought of as a leadoff man. Indians need help and I sure hope they get it.
