He doesn't look to be that big of a moron any more.

Tennessee Titans. Duke athletics. New York Yankees. Carolina Hurricanes. Portland Trailblazers.
Milwaukee Brewers MSL GM
so far, his "gamble" has paid off. Yankees still have some time left and Borowski is not always a guarenteed, or at least without making things interesting.
On the flip side, Jack McKeon looked smart when he used Josh Beckett on 3 days rest for Game 6 of the 2003 World Series.
true. good point.
I don't care. I still think it was a stupid move to start Byrd. He gave up too many baserunners but it turned out it didn't matter who started, the Yankees just couldn't buy a hit with runners in scoring position.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.
Ah, give me something clever to say here.
It wasn't a bad move at all because now Byrd has pitched a game in the past two weeks and will be smart to use him in Game 3 over Westbrook. Sabathia is in line to face Beckett and Carmona to face Schilliing. It was a smart move from the beginning and now he looks even smarter.
Starting Wang was clearly the wrong move
I think the Yankees need a new ace pitcher, because Wang ain't it. If Pettite doesn't leave, then he's your ace. If he does, then it's Hughes.
Cleveland Indians : 0-5, 5th AL Central
Pittsburgh Pirates Record: 3-2. 1st NL Central
Wang is NOT a #1. He should be a #2 at the very best, probably a #3.
I tend to agree with DirtyKash on this one. It was not a do or die situation. That would be the only reason for C.C. pitching for me on three days rest. But again, what do I know. hahaha..
