Can we go ahead and petition RCast to fire Narron?

This is like having your testicles put in a vise! Can we please, maybe, hire an ACTUAL defensive specialist to teach these guys how not to field the ball. This is worse than Little League. Here we come 0-162!

Ho hum, down 16-7 in the bottom of the 9th.
Kearns dribbles one to short, one away.
Valentin K's on 3 straight, two away.
Abad's first big league AB isn't an AB, its a walk.
Aurilia gets a single.
Lopez grounds to short to end it.
What a pile of crap.

Well not the best Openeing Day start we all know that. As we all fall flat on our faces and wish we didn't just witness this slaughter and utter lack of ability to play the game, we must figure out a way to get passed it.
Surprisingly enough, Narron's lineup was not the problem yesterday. Womack got on base 3 times, as did Hatteberg. Not bad for the guys we were not too sure of needing to be in the lineup.
Overall, this game was just ugly. Our defense was absolutely horrible and the pitching was not any better. A surprise outing from harang leaves us breathless. Here are some questions that need to be answered after that game.
*Will they reconsider Dunn playing 1B?
*Will Harang be able to bounce back?
*Are we going to have to bet on our offense again all year?
*Was EdE's spring just a fluke?
On a positive note, the Reds did have a few good lines from two young relievers. Coffey and Belisle both threw scoreless innings. Although Belisle allowed two baserunners, it is a positive that they did not give up an earned run.
The offense was strong all around and they may need to continue. I really liked what Kearns, Dunn, Hatteberg and Womack brought to the table.
MVP: Kearns
Well i dont think theyll consider playing Dunn at first because one bad game in the outfield isnt going to put him at first. The wind was crazy strong and I dont think hell have this bad of a defensive game the rest of the year. But at first base Hatteberg certinaly impressed at the plate! Thats for sure.
I'm sure Harang will be able to bounce back. This was "Opening Day". With all the hype about opening day probably set Harang back a little with him maybe being a little nervous. He was our best pitcher last year and i expect him to be this year as well. So im sure he will bounce back.
I really really hope that we dont have to bet on the offense AGAIN. I think our pitching staff can keep us in more ball games this year. And if our offense can score 7 runs a game, I think we have a good shot of holding the opponent under 7.
I think in some way's EdE's spring was sort of a fluke. Although i think he is as good as he was in spring training. I think he will have a faboulous year this year.
