    Reds vs. Cubs Game 2

Well I was going to have this one on the Cubs forum but I never heard back from their mod. But if you guys want, we can still move it there.

Anyhow today we have Claussen with his first appearance of the season. He will be facing Prior who is off to a good start with a 0.00 ERA this season. A great game last night may have us in a push for another one, or the Cubs could really be out for revenge. Good luck to the team in RED!

Not too many players have faced Prior regularly. But LaRue has done well against him with 4 doubles in 11 AB. I wonder what Miley has in store for tonight's lineup.

This lineup tonight could be very telling. I'm very interested in seeing it.

IMO, we should keep it over here.

I hope Dunn moves up in the order

I think we should keep it here too. Although I think most of the Cubs fans here are good to discuss things with, I'm worried that an argument could start during this game with them.

I was just thinking we could get some great conversation going with them as they have quite a few posters over there as well. But, of course, I would have to insist on things remaining friendly. Competitive would be fine, but friendly.

Anyhow, I will not be making it through the thread again tonight as I have Little League practice again. So I guess the decision is already made. We will keep it here, but look forward to having us post in other team's forums every so often. Unless you guys completely protest it, which is welcome as well. So in other words give me your thoughts on this.

Well looks like LaRue definitely must have needed the rest as he is our best bat against Prior. Good to see the Freel start. But Pena over Kearns again? This could get Kearns real mad. We may hear some things tonight for sure.

I think we can do it in other forums at times, but I would hold off for a while.

The bottom of our lineup has the potential of being brutally bad against Prior tonight.

I am feeling very good about Claussen tonight....I just have a gut feeling.
I think he will pitch well, it is just a matter of how we hit Prior.

I'm not feeling that good. He could pitch a gem...but I think it is unlikely.

I really hope we get Hudson back soon to take the 5th spot in the rotation.

I have a good feeling too. So either we are all starving, or it could be for real. But Claussen has to impress after his not so great ending to last season. It would be huge if he ends up tearing through these Cubs tonight. I am at the very least excited to see whether or not the possibility of Claussen doin well is even something to consider. Because if not, we have to know soon in order to get Hudson some time once he is ready.
