If this is true, Depodesta better not pull another insane move like trading Chad Billingsley or Joel Guzman for Joe Randa and David Weathers.Originally Posted by theFatty

Tidbits from yesterday
CF Kenny Kelly drove in the game-winning run in the bottom of the 9th inning to provide Louisville (CIN) with a 7-6 win over Syracuse (TOR) on Friday. Kelly would go 3-for-5 with a steal, 2 runs scored, and an RBI for the Bats in the victory. The former Miami Hurricane quarterback currently ranks 6th in the IL in batting with a .339 average. RHP Francisco Rosario and RHP Steve Kelly entered this game as two of the hottest pitchers in the IL but each would surrender 5 runs and receive a no-decision on this day. Kelly ranks 2nd in the IL in ERA (2.37). Rosario's ERA went up to 3.02.
Yes it is. I would think that a promotion to Louisville should be coming fairly soon. A few other notes: Homer Bailey starts for Dayton on Monday. Hopefully he can keep it going. Also Wily Mo Pena and Ben Weber will be in Louisville tomorrow. Apparently Weber is just throwing a simulated inning though.Originally Posted by missionhockey21
Bubba is looking awesome. Wow.
Bergolla is on the cusp of being a major leaguer, but is just not there. He is an AAAA player as of right now offensively.

It would be great if we can get Wily Mo back by midweek. Hopefully he isnt too rusty and will tear up AAA.

Yeah, but we know O'Brien wants him to stay down for a while because he doesn't have quite the skill set that Aurilia does. He doesn't have the presence either.

Just a little update. Dayton is still playing but Homer got roughed up a little today: 2 IP, 4 hits, 5 runs, 4 earned, 2 BB, 3 K, 1 HR(which was a 3 run shot) his ERA balloned up to 2.97
