Coffey is going to have to get some 1-2-3 innings to get another callup. Good stuff on EdE and Bergolla. EdE should not be called up at all this season without a Randa injury though. I am very excited about our future with him. But Bergolla, it may be good with a look at him. Jiminez can be released that much easier. Freel to start and Bergolla to back him up, that sounds a lot better than Jiminez starting and Freel backing him up. Plus Bergolla has some big time speed and could take the pinch runner/lead off pinch hitter role as well. Kelly is also looking pretty good.

I love hearing about Bailey putting up great K totals so far. Be patient with him Dan O, you could have a legit ace on your hands if you develop him right.

    Updates from ondeckbaseball.com

RHP Richie Gardner had a very tough outing for the Lookouts, as he would cough up 8 runs -- 6 earned -- on 11 hits and 4 walks in 3.2 innings. Gardner's ERA has soared to 7.85 and he's yielded an eye-popping 45 hits in 28.2 innings this season.

CF Chris Dickerson went 2-for-4 with a triple, 2 runs scored, and 2 RBIs in Sarasota's (CIN) 6-5 home triumph over Jupiter (FLA). Dickerson has been picking up the pace. The athletic 23-year-old now has a hit in 7 out of the last 8 games to jump his average from .231 to .291. He leads the Reds with 11 extra-base hits and 16 walks.

I dont know if anybody cares about these but I think they are interesting tidbits that you may not pick up by just reading the box score.

Looks like Coffey continues to struggle with the same ailment he had while with the Reds.

I'm starting to think O'Brien's requirement to play for the team is to perform poorly. If you perform well, you can't play.

I am kinda surprised that Romano wasnt the man called up for Pena. Just b/c he is one of Mileys boys.
