sheesh what is EdE hitting in AAA, .500+?
Nope. He got off to a 1-11 start but went 2-3 with a 2B, HR, and walk last night....and doubled tonight.Originally Posted by ghettochild

Louisville game was suspened...EdE was 1-1 with a double and a walk
Chattanooga won 2-1
Bubba Nelson 1-2-3 9th inning with a K.
Good to see EdE coming along finally. I would like to say how good Nelson is doing, but IIRC, he was good back in the day at AA. But maybe he has his head screwed on after the ST incident and maybe those numbers can translate up to AAA.

Dragons tales:
Homer Bailey, last summer's No. 1 draft choice by the Reds, will be off the Dragons' roster for a few days but is expected to be on the mound for his first start Friday when Fort Wayne visits.
Until then, Bailey will be on the roster of the rookie Billings, Mont., team, but he'll remain in Dayton while Alexander Farfan takes his place on the roster from extended Spring Training. Farfan pitched with the Dragons in each of the last two seasons.
Bailey, a right-hander, had a knee operation last summer and it was a little sore when the Dragons opened their season in South Bend, Ind., last week. Bailey's first start was delayed until Sunday, but his knee was still a little sore.
"Any other player and he may have played," Dragons manager Alonzo Powell said. "But he's a special (No. 1) case."
Powell felt he needed another pitcher — Farfan — not only because Bailey was being held back, but because Bohorquez had a sore groin and Gonzalez had to come out of last Thursday's game after being hit on the shin with a line drive.
None of the injuries are serious enough to land any of the pitchers on the disabled list.
Bailey, in fact, threw two 15-pitch simulated innings after Tuesday's game, with catcher John Purdom (on the disabled list) and Powell alternating batting.
Bailey would have thrown prior to the game, but it was raining and pitchers couldn't throw while all batting practice was held indoors.
Ben Kozlowski pitched another great game today
