    They didn't. But Chambliss still needs to do something with Dunn and Kearns before I worship him, because I really think the team is riding natural ability over coaching at this point.

    I consider Bucky Dent the next step towards getting rid of Chambliss. And just because Dunn K's too much and Kearns cant stay healthy doesnt mean he cant coach. Im fine with any coach whose offense is the best in the league.

    What the hell did you think Dunn's potential was supposed to be?

    And Kearns' injuries have slowed him down.

    Can't really blame the hitting coach for that.

    Dunn hit for a very solid average while he was in the minors. He's already great, but he always has a bad second half, and I think making more contact would help him. Chambliss needs to do something. Chambliss changed Kearns' entire approach at the plate, making him take too many pitches and causing him to strike out a lot more.
