A couple of easy outs, a Dunn single and a strikeout from our big cleanup hitter. Aurilia must be loving this. I wonder if this cleanup stuff is Dan O trying to butter him up hoping that he can resign him next year? Assuming that Dan O is still here next year, ha.

Hairston goes down swinging. 1 out.
    Walker takes a walk.
Lee walks. Keisler can't throw a strike simply.

Garciaparra grounds it to Lopez but beats out the throw. Bases loaded.

Could we have really done worse with Hudson?

Burnitz with a flyout to center but not deep enough to allow a run scored. Keisler got lucky there.

Murton hits a high flyball to CF but Wily Mo is there. After one, the Cubs lead 1-0.

3-0 Cubs here in the Bot. 4th.

Our offense can't hit Jerome Williams.(Aurilia batting 4th being a big reason behind that)

Homer: We're proud of you, boy.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.

Hairston up with 2 outs in the 4th.

He flies out. 3-0 Cubs after 4. Keisler might be able to go one more inning...

Jerome Williams is someone I would of loved for the Reds to get. I know he's not the greatest pitcher but he's a young guy with moderate success and he seem to come pretty cheapliy to the Cubs. But what are you going to do now? Hendry knows pitching unlike O'Brien sadly. Again, Williams isn't a stud but he's got a decent ceiling considering the price they payed to get him it was a steal in my book.

Williams has decent numbers this year, but when did he turn into an Ace?

    Lopez singles.

You mean another 'keep you in the game' type of pitcher, which is what a team with the Reds' offense needs?
