HOUSTON -- David Weathers had to make a trip to the lost-and-found department that every pitcher dreads.
"I lost my release point," he said on Saturday. "I wasn't panicked or anything. But for any pitcher, if you lose your release point, it's tough to find."
Weathers didn't have any problem finding trouble in his first two outings with the Reds this season.
On Opening Day, he gave up two runs on three hits in 2/3 of an inning. He followed that up on Thursday against the Mets by coming into the game with a cushiony 6-1 lead in the ninth, but he gave up a hit and two walks in 2/3 of an inning, forcing the Reds to bring in closer Danny Graves to get the last out.
