Haha..Duquette was a joke.

Please Krivsky we passed on him once, dont do it twice. He should not be there if we have to do this again in a couple years.

"Oh, don't mind me, I'm rebuilding now" then you win at least 80 games
RIP S3SL Minnesota Twins.
RIP HSL Anaheim Angels

Dan Duquette > Jim Duquette
And this is a Boston fan saying this. He's a sea of mediocrity surrounding moments of greatness.
Krivsky wouldn't be a bad risk, would it be that bad to give Dan another shot though? He did get Pedro for a pitcher that didn't break out until 2004 and two future all-stars for Heathcliffe Slocumb.

Then out of fairness to the others you will be Slagathor.
I still would want to see something like this happen. I am convinced that he has his favorites and that he is a bad judge in talent. Krivsky would be a no doubt step up. If we could get him in, then this is definitely some good news. Hopefully it is news and not just another stupid rumor though.
We need a Beaner. Someone who actually knows something about sabermetrics and can recognize the value of players like Dunn and Freel.
Taken into consideration Dano's debacle with Milton and Ortiz,he has got us some decent returns in the RP dept.
And didnt he stock the Astro's farm system that produced Oswalt and others?I think he at least ought to get another year.Hell look what he was handed when he became GM.
If DanO is here next year, I may stop being a Reds fan.
